Ah-mazing!Authentic Flavors is truly an amazing local & cultural food experience. We searched around looking to try different foods in the area, found this place close to town and now have a new favorite!The menu is set up to allow you to experience all the different cultural foods of Belize, plus more and honestly there's nothing on the menu you won't enjoy, so order a little bit of everything.There's a variety of options for any diet. Meat lovers, vegetarians and everything in between. We're vegan, so we loved it!The interior decor celebrates and really captures the melting pot of cultures that make up Belize, please look around while you wait for your food, there's much to see.The staff are welcoming and super talented, you'll leave feeling so satisfied and so will your belly. Add Authentic Flavors to your "local things to try" list if your visiting San Ignacio.It's one to remember.

Visited during a torrential downpour with my family. Far away from centre of town, a lovely little gem tucked away.We had the coconut crusted chicken with rice and mole sauce as well as stewed chicken and rice and beans.Service was great, family owned shop that were very invested in ensuring everyone was well fed and enjoyed the experience.Puppies everywhere, super cute. Lots of people visiting who were repeat customers. Would recommend!

This little hole-in-the-wall restaurant is AMAZING! The food was some of the best I had in Belize (which is saying something because I LOVED all the food in Belize!!) I had the shrimp curry and it was the best curry I have ever had in my entire life. I was licking the plate clean :) We also had the panates and those were incredible as well. The restaurant is a cute little outdoor patio and kitchen with a super cute vibe. Great selection of entrees, drinks, and shareables! The location was a little out of the way and in a residential neighborhood, but TOTALLY worth it. The waitress was super friendly and helpful and even labeled our bill "Beautiful Girls." My friends and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone we know going to San Ignacio!

Small "family" house restaurant where all the food is made fresh to order. Don't be in a rush when coming here! Instead, sit back, enjoy the plants and hummingbirds that abound. Veggie tacos were phenomenal and portioned just right (five). Off the beaten path and worth the trip to find.

This place is a hidden gem! The vegan options are plenty and all of them that we tried were delicious. The vegan tacos and veggie creole were my favourites. The service was also SO fast and the prices are really affordable.

You walk into an intricately decorated covered patio. The atmosphere is colourful, with garifruna, Creole, mestizo, and Mayan artwork. The menu has dishes from all of these cultures, plus burgers and vegetarian options. Amazing coconut soup, friend chicken, wowowow! The owner and her family are so nice. We had to come back to this locally owned gem.

We were looking for true local cuisine and I feel we hit the jackpot. This family owned spot spills over with character and diverse regional cuisine: Garifuna, Mayan, Creole and Mestizo. Our meals were expertly prepared, with flavors that blew us away, and the service was phenomenal. The conch fritters were the best I ever had, the Mayan fish was wrapped in cowfoot leaf with veggies, and it was insanely good (sorry no picture)! Our meal was prepared with love, care, quality, and expertise. We will be back, maybe tomorrow!

Vegan friendly! In a random spot but SO GOOD!! The curry was amazing. We got shrimp and lobster curry and veggie curry and the chicken panades were good! Also recommended the papaya smoothie! Very big and creamy! YUMMM
